Is there anyway I could be happier with my new cover? I don’t think so! OMG!
It was created by the loverly and talented Paul Richmond and it in now way could convey my story any more than it already does. I am SO happy! Soo soooooo soooooooo happy!

Cover For “All Alone in a Sea of Romance” Has Been Released!
So it came today and it is by the wondrous and sweet Paul Richmond. I am so happy.
A week or so ago he sent me four covers and we tweaked and narrowed them down and then over the holiday weekend (while I was camping) three covers arrived and we narrowed and tweaked and this is it!
Paul was so kind to make a few little changes and I have something I am very happy with.
Not only are the colors just gorgeous and eye-catching, but I got to pick out the cover model! I found someone perfect and they used him!
So he actually looks like how I imagined him to be, or awfully damned close!
I could not be happier!
And here is the final (at last) blurb for my novel (to be released in October)…

I can’t believe how perfect this cover is. It is RIGHT out of the story. It is exactly what I wanted and more! The characters look right. The scene looks right. The cover tells the story of how the characters meet, and it does it on so many levels!
I just could not possibly be happier!

So last night I got the Paul Richmond cover sketch for Desert Crossing and I am stunned.
I wish I could share it with you, but alas, at this time I am not allowed.
Needless to say it is an author’s dream. It is a scene right out of the story, near the beginning, and it is gorgeous.
I had one or two tiny little requests, and qualified them by the fact that I knew an artist knew better and if he wanted to ignore me, I was happy.
I have been very blessed with my covers and this is just another one.
It made me write more of my new story. For dreams of another wonderful cover!

I’ve even exchanged an email or two with him and he is open to all kinds of input.
I am a big fan of his work and you should check out his website. He has actually done the “cover” work for two of the daily dose projects I’ve been a part of; Naughty or Nice and Midsummer’s Nightmare. Both of those pieces are spectacular!
I got all kinds of input and sometime soon I will get a sketch to comment on. He recommended that I send all my thoughts through Dreamspinner (I am sure it is for some kind of legal and editorial reasons), but he has my email address for more immediate concerns.
I will want to buy a print! I know I won’t be able to afford the original, but I can’t wait to see it. I can’t imagine that I will be disappointed. I have bought a number of books just because he did the cover. If covers sell books, his will sell Desert Crossing!
And since it is a Bittersweet Dreams novella, it’s need the help! LOL!
